Sankeerthana Yajnam

A Sankirtana Yajnam will be performed in the premises of SVASA on 4 November 2017 from 7am to 5pm.  One Hundred eight (108) Sankeerthanas of Annamacharya will be recited by the devotees as a group.  The Yajnam begins at 7am with the chanting of "Om Namo Venkatesaya" for seven times followed by the Gurudeva Prarthana  "Sri Mathvadeeya" on Annamacharya.  Then four Sakirthanas on Annamcharya will be recited before singing the 108 Sankirthanas  of Annamacharya.  The Yajnam concludes with Naivedyam and Managala Harathi at 5pm.  Thereafter, Prasadam will be served to the devotees.  Devotees may join at the beginning or in the middle and sing any Sankeerthana of their choice.  By the nature of this event, it will take almost 6 hours before the Naivedyam and Mangala Harathi.

Following Sankirtanas will be recited in the Yajnam:

Om Namo Venkatesaya  -  7 Times
Sri Mathvadeeya Charithamritham Annayaarya
Hariyavathaarameethadu Annamayya
Hariyavathaaramay Aathandithadu
Appani Vara Prasaadi Annamayya
Saranantimaathani Sambhandhamuna Jesi

108 Sankeerthanas of Annamacharya will be recited by the Devotees


Mangalam:  Ksheerabhdhi Kanyakaku,  Anganaleeray Aarathulu, Jo Atchyuthaananda, Maadhavunaku Mangalam, Mangalamu Govindunaku
Vina Venkatesam
Naivedyam will be offered before the Mangalam
Mangala Haarathi:  Sriyah Kaanthaya Kalyana Nidhaye Nidhayerdhinaam

Prasadam will be served to the devotees after Mangala Haarathi.
