Highlights of the "Sankirthana Prabha" - a Deewali event of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya Sankirthanas
at 15311 Pioneer Blvd., Norwalk, Ca-90650
on 22 October 2005 (Saturday) from 3:30pm to 6pm.

This is a well attended and very well received program for SVASA.  The devotees at the  temple were thoroughly enthralled by the content of this devotional service.  During the Sankirtana recital, the whole environment was filled with unbounded joy.  The event started with the usual Gurudeva Prardhana "Sri mathvadeeya Charithamrithamannayaarya".  Mr. Satya Duvvuri, president of SVASA provided the introduction on Annamacharya and commentary for the Sankirtanas that followed.  The following 18 compositions of Annamacharya were rendered by Smt. Soujanya Srinivas and was ably supported on violin by Sri Murali Pavithran and by Sri Dhamodaran Srinivasan on Mridangam:

Appani Vara Prasadi, Anni Manthramulu Inday Aavahinchenu, Ippuditu Kalaganti, Shodasa Kalaanidhiki Shodasopachaaramulu, Okaparikokaparikoyyaramai, Vinaro Bhaagyamu Vishnu Katha, Kadiri Nrusimhudu, Kalasapuramu Kaada, Nagavulu Nijamani,  Deenuda Nenu, Gatulanni Khilamaina, Jagadapu Chanavula Jaajara, Veedhula Veedhula Vibhudegeeni, Thiro Thiro Javaraala, Kondalalo Nelakonna,  Idivo Suddulu E Repallenu, Choodaramma Sathulaala, and Ksheerabhdhi Kanyakaku.

Aarathi was offered to dieties and Prasadam distribution followed the Arathi.
